Mud Creek has grown from a single truck into a multi-division industrial support company providing medical, fire, air, gas detection, safety training, and workplace testing services. Our leadership team brings hands-on field experience, technical expertise, and a shared commitment to safety, reliability, and exceptional client service.

Each division works both independently and together to support industrial projects, turnarounds, and ongoing operations — allowing clients to work with one trusted provider for multiple safety and compliance needs

Leanne Grumetza

CEO / Owner

Founder and driving force behind Mud Creek, Leanne has grown the company
from a single truck into a multi-division industrial support provider serving
clients across Western Canada. Under her leadership, Mud Creek has
expanded to provide medical standby, fire suppression support, breathing air solutions, gas detection services, safety training, and workplace compliance testing.

As a female entrepreneur in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Leanne is passionate about empowering women in the workforce and creating opportunities for growth, leadership, and long-term careers. She believes strong companies are built by supporting people, encouraging development, and maintaining high standards of professionalism and accountability.

Alyssa Cederstrand

General Manager
Alyssa plays a key leadership role in guiding Mud Creek’s daily operations and supporting the continued growth of the company across all divisions. Working closely with division supervisors, she helps ensure consistent quality, strong communication, and high operational standards throughout the organization.
With extensive experience within Mud Creek, Alyssa brings deep knowledge of company processes, client expectations, and team development. She is relied upon to help lead the leadership team, ensure standards are maintained, and support a culture focused on accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Alyssa works closely with clients and internal teams to ensure expectations are understood, communication is clear, and services are delivered to the high standards Mud Creek is known for. She genuinely cares about the people she works with and is dedicated to creating an environment where both clients and team members feel supported, valued, and positioned for success.
Her leadership helps ensure Mud Creek continues to deliver dependable, high-quality service clients can trust.

Jennifer Highmoor

Medical Supervisor
Jennifer leads Mud Creek’s Medical Division, providing licensed industrial medics for worksites requiring professional on-site medical support. All medics are registered with the Alberta College of Paramedics, ensuring clients receive qualified medical professionals prepared to respond to workplace incidents and emergencies.

Jennifer holds a special place in Mud Creek’s history as the company’s first employee and has contributed to Mud Creek’s growth from the beginning. She is committed to ensuring clients receive dependable, professional medical coverage tailored to their project needs.

Services include:
• Industrial medical standby
• Licensed ACP registered medics (EMR, PCP)
• Turnarounds and project support

Brodey Grumetza

Air Division Supervisor

Brodey oversees the Air Division, providing clean breathing air equipment
required for work in hazardous and sour environments. The division supplies
air trailers, breathing air systems, and support equipment to ensure workers
have safe access to breathable air in compliance with industry safety
requirements.

Having grown up around the business, Brodey has developed a strong understanding of Mud Creek’s commitment to reliability and service. As Leanne’s son, he has witnessed the company’s growth firsthand and takes pride in contributing to its continued success.

• Air supply equipment for sour sites
• Equipment setup and support

Dylan Brewster

Gas Detection Supervisor
Dylan leads Mud Creek’s Gas Detection Division, providing equipment sales, rentals, servicing, and calibration to help clients maintain safe working environments. As a Journeyman Electrician, Dylan brings strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of how critical properly functioning monitoring equipment is in the field.
When Dylan joined Mud Creek in 2023, his knowledge and industry experience played a key role in establishing the Gas Detection Division. Dylan’s hands-on approach allows him to often identify what clients need before they even realize it themselves, helping ensure worksites are properly equipped, compliant, and prepared to operate safely and efficiently.

• Calibration and servicing
• H2S and multi-gas monitoring solutions

AJ Vos

Drug & Alcohol Testing Supervisor
AJ leads Mud Creek’s workplace testing division, helping companies maintain safe and compliant work environments through professional testing services. After working in the field as a medic, AJ transitioned into the division following Mud Creek’s acquisition of Horizon Technique in 2021 and has helped expand the services offered.

The division now provides drug and alcohol testing, mask fit testing, hearing protection fit testing, and workplace noise assessments to support occupational health and safety compliance.

• Hearing protection fit testing
• Workplace noise assessments

Cassie Perron

Safety Training Supervisor
Cassie leads Mud Creek’s Safety Training Division, delivering practical, high-quality training programs that help workers stay safe and prepared on the job. In 2023, Mud Creek acquired 6S Safety from Cassie’s parents, Tom and Rena, building on the strong reputation they established in the industry.

Cassie continues that legacy by providing engaging, real-world training that supports safer workplaces and confident teams.

• Energy Safety Canada courses
• First aid training
• Workplace safety education

Fire Division Supervisor
Mud Creek’s Fire Division provides reliable fire suppression support for industrial worksites, turnarounds, and high-risk environments. Services include fire trucks, trained personnel, and specialized equipment such as emergency shower units and CAF systems designed to support safe operations.

Mud Creek is pleased to welcome a dedicated Fire Division Supervisor in the coming months as we continue strengthening this division to support client needs.
